After successfully completing an intense nine month program for social entrepreneurs with the GE Helathymagination program and Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship at Santa Clara University, LEN presented its business plan to investors at the 5th Sanklap African Summit in Nairobi, Kenya on March 1, 2018. The Summit is one of the largest gatherings of entrepreneurs and social investors held in Africa which highlights promising social entrepreneurs working on the continent. LEN was one of 11 social enterprises selected to participate in the GE/Miller center program, where it received support developing and refining its business plan with a special emphasis on the impact of off-grid lighting in Liberia for improving healthcare.
